On the evening of January 13th, Scott and I head up to Sunnyvale to spend time with the Almeida's. It took us almost 2 hours to get there... due to traffic. But, when we arrived, I was so happy to be in their presence. Their apartment is beautiful and well decorated. When Julie got back from picking Leo up from work, we sat down, said prayer and chowed down on delicious white bean chicken chilli soup. Yum! After eating, we decided to burn some calories and play the ps3 sports game. While we were playing the game, Julie popped in some home-made banana bread. The bread was of course amazing. She's a natural!
The next morning, we all got up bright and early to head to the temple. Before leaving Julie and Leo made us a delicious breakfast. We left the house early enough to make it to the temple for the 9 o'clock session. The spirit was so strong and it was a bonus being there with the people I love... My family.
This is a start of a tradition. We are so excited to make trips to the temple with family every month.
After the temple and taking many pictures... we headed back to the Almeida's. Leo made his famous feijoada and my taste buds were so happy. My goodness... it was so good. Before leaving we watched 3 men and a little lady. Its was a really nice, romantic and funny movie. My eyes were glued to the screen. We had a wonderful time and I look forward to our next Temple trip.

Julie and Leo, Thank you for your great hospitality! We love you guys!
